Thank you for your interest in AlwaysMind. AlwaysMind is a service provided by Identity Guardian Inc. The following privacy policy applies to all users who use Identity Guardian services (as defined in our terms of service).

Identity Guardian (“IG”) was built with both its usefulness and your privacy in mind. This policy describes the types of personal information we may collect from our users and how we may use such information. Please note that this policy is not relevant in any way to information about you that is found on the open web, dark web or data breaches and subsequently available in our service as part of your online identity, it only relates to information we collect from you.

By using IG, you agree to the collection and use of your personal information as described in this policy as well as to IG’s terms of service. Any significant changes to this policy – will be posted on the relevant website.

Commitment to Children's Privacy
We are committed to protecting the privacy of minors. To comply with various privacy regulations, at this time, IG services are only available to users who are at least 18 years old. If you are under 18, please do not use IG’s services.

Usage information remains private
We may collect information about your use of IG services, such as how often and for how long you are logged on and other information related to your use of IG services. We use this information internally to improve our service, but we will never publish this data nor give it to a third party.

Cookies
IG may use cookies in an effort to improve the quality of our services.

A cookie is a small data file that is sent to your computer when you first visit a website. Cookies usually include an identification number that is unique to the computer you are using. Such identifiers can help us better understand our users and how they are using the website and the services.

Cookies can improve the quality of service e.g. recognizing a user when he visits the site, displaying the site according to the user’s chosen user settings for language, and maintaining the security of the user’s account; and help us provide relevant information and offers to our customers and prospects. If you prefer, however, you can reset your browser so that it refuses all cookies, or notifies you when a cookie is being sent.

Third party websites and services
IG’s services contain links to third party websites and embedded elements from third party web services such as Google Maps; likewise, your query information might be relayed to third party data feeds for additional results. If you use IG’s services or follow links to third party websites, some information about you and your query may be visible to subsequent services. Even if the third party website or service is affiliated with us, we have no control over linked sites, services or data feeds, each of which has separate privacy and data collection practices independent of IG. As such, we are not responsible for, nor have any control over, the content or the privacy policies of those third party websites or services, and encourage all users to read the privacy policies of each and every website linked from or embedded in the IG services. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by IG.

Google APIs usage disclosure
Given user consent, IG’s services may use the following Google APIs, for the following reasons and under the following limitations, all of which comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

- User info - profile and email address
Reason: allows IG’s services to offer an alternative login method and to obtain necessary information about the user - profile data (by definition - any personal info a user has made publicly available) and email address, which shortens the on boarding process, creating a frictionless registration experience.
Limitations: see above compliance statement.

- Read-only access to Gmail messages
Reason: reading email messages in order to determine which online services users have subscribed to or registered with using their email address in order to map and continuously monitor those services for data breaches and other digital vulnerabilities, and to alert the users when such an event occurs.
Limitations: in addition to the above compliance statement, IG’s services using this API do not copy, store, log or transfer accessed user data (namely, email messages). Furthermore, user data is only read by computers (our service detection algorithm) and there is no human involvement in any step of the process. When the process is complete all user data is erased from the server's memory.

Disclaimer
We reserves the right to disclose information to third parties if we believe we are required to do so by law or have a good-faith belief that such access or disclosure is reasonably necessary to:
* Satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request;
* Enforce IG’s Terms of Use, including investigation of potential violations thereof;
* Detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues
* Respond to user support requests;
* Protect the rights, property or safety of IG, its users and the public.

Transfer of information
Information collected by IG may be stored and processed in the United States or any other country in which IG or its agents maintain facilities. By using IG, you consent to any such transfer of information outside of your country.

We reserve the right to transfer information in the event of a transfer of ownership of IG, such as acquisition by or merger with another company.
